First Thursday in the Pearl District of Portland, Oregon has been a long time art walk tradition. Held on the first Thursday of every month from April to November, galleries in the Pearl District and surrounding neighborhoods open their doors for enthusiasts to get a glimpse of new and aspiring artists.
Handmade NW has united with ActivSpace and The Lovejoy Car Company in The Alphabet District to showcase local handmade artisans. Located on NW Lovejoy and 17th, ActivSpace is situated directly on the Portland Streetcar line with a stop approximately half a block from our event space.
Also located on NW Lovejoy and 17th, the Lovejoy Car Company – a family owned, boutique dealership – generously loaned us their parking lot so we'll have room for an additional 10 canopies.

FREE entertainment plus NW crafts = Great family event!
The seventh annual Summer Arts on Main will feature entertainment, crafts by Handmade NW, and free hands-on arts activities for children in the heart of Portland’s Cultural District. Stop by PCPA on Wednesdays for a family event that everyone will enjoy!
This series runs concurrently with the Portland Farmers Market in the Park Blocks.

This is an OUTSIDE event and will NOT be canceled due to inclement weather with the exception of a state declared weather emergency or other conditions beyond our control.
You must bring your own battery or Coleman operated lights. We recommend using 50 lb weights per leg on your canopy. We also suggest using/sharing a canopy with walls during the colder months. 100% of booth fees are to be used for advertising.
