I love to create, and I make lots of different things. I love that about my brain and about my hands...they work together to turn ordinary items into art. And the thing I love best, is that even though I make all sorts of things, they all have a common thread running through them, making my work a cohesive whole.

All of my art starts with something old. It might be a discarded kitchen cabinet door, or a length of vintage chain that was once a piece of costume jewelry, or a reclaimed remnant of fabric. And then the magic happens. Inspiration takes a hold, and out come the paints and the vintage papers, the beads and buttons and charms, the embroidery floss and fabric scraps. I love combining the old with the new, to turn out something completely original. Something whimsical. Something just for you.
